Below you’ll find two case studies of recent projects we are proud to have been a part of.
The Tri-Township Fire Department project features a thoughtfully designed HVAC system, including two variable volume rooftop units (RTUs) with VAV boxes distributed throughout the main building to provide efficient zoning and occupant comfort.
The apparatus bay was outfitted with high-volume, low-speed (HVLS) fans, radiant heaters, and a vehicle exhaust capture system to maintain a safe and functional environment for the department’s operations.
Portions of the facility were supported by a back-up generator to ensure continued operation during power interruptions.
The New Albany Police Department project included several unique challenges. The evidence room required odor mitigation to prevent drug odors from spreading, which we addressed using a DOAS with carbon filtration. The facility also features a full VRF system for efficient climate control.
Site conditions were complex, with a high water table near the river necessitating an extensive basement dewatering system. This project also marked our first fully completed job in Revit. Design began in November 2022, with construction completed in January 2025.
For years, our Founder, Don Spencer, took veterans and first responders to Minnesota to give them the opportunity to experience a stress-free environment filled with fishing and camaraderie.
