Indianapolis, IN | This project involved retrofitting a former Family Video store into a fully functional veterinary clinic, complete with an X-ray and surgery suite.
The VCA Midwest Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center involved a large expansion and renovation of an existing veterinary specialty hospital. The electrical systems were a major focus, with the existing service heavily modified to support the renovation and an additional service added to accommodate the expansion, including specialty equipment such as CT imaging and a mobile MRI trailer. The HVAC systems were intentionally designed to meet the unique environmental requirements of different areas within the facility. Additionally, this project was one of the first in which we designed a USP800 room for compounding chemotherapy drugs, incorporating specific design requirements to ensure safe handling and operation.
