The Crestmont Community project encompassed a large site requiring extensive infrastructure upgrades and comprehensive renovations to all existing buildings. With plans to increase the number of tenants, the project included complete tenant renovations for both ADA and non-ADA residents. A key feature of the redevelopment was the renovation of the community building, transforming it into a welcoming space for events and gatherings.
Spencer Engineering partnered with Rottman-Collier Architects on the design, with funding and support provided by Brinshore Property Development. Construction was managed by Brinshore Construction Management. The project began with a site investigation in June 2021, moved to plan review in October 2021, and completed construction in the summer of 2024—on time and within budget.
The buildings were in dated and in need of repair. The project included all new electrical service for all new tenants and the reconfiguration of building layouts to provide more living spaces for the community being served. The project also included a community center that was renovated for the use of the community members. The new community center is a focal point of the renovation as it host events and gatherings for the residents.”
