Bloomington, IN | The Crestmont Community project encompassed a large site requiring extensive infrastructure upgrades and comprehensive renovations to all existing buildings.
The Circa Apartment Building presented unique design considerations inherent to multi-family housing. Our team focused on delivering efficient and flexible HVAC solutions to meet the differing needs of individual apartments and shared spaces. To optimize comfort and system performance, we implemented mini-split systems with ceiling cassettes to heat and cool the common corridors—a creative alternative to traditional centralized systems. This approach provided enhanced control, energy efficiency, and a clean aesthetic that complements the building’s modern design. The project was designed in 2013 and opened in 2014.
It was great to be part of a project to add housing downtown near the Fountain Square area. The complex provides 1 and 2 bedroom apartments along with many of the facilities needed by the residents including a pool, community area, exercise room and many more.
